Petition Obama to Disclose Campaign Finances
Barack Obama raised 750 million dollars for his 2008 presidential election campaign, but used a loophole to reveal just 8 percent of the names who donated. The way he reported expenditures hid who some of the money went to or were reported late, prompting speculation that he used illegal fundraising tactics. The Hill Poll found that likely voters disapproved by an almost 2-to-1 margin of Obama’s assertion of presidential power in the case.
